I've had those same ...I know exactly what you mean. I've had those same fears but don't let them hold you back. I'm glad that I welcomed horses into my life despite the fact that I thought I was too fat (and still do unfortunately, lol) and was actually told I was too old. I would have missed out on so very much if I'd listened to myself and the others who told me I shouldn't do this. In three weeks, we are going back to Missouri to visit with the man who raised Mouse and to bring back Mouse's baby (now seven-big baby, lol!) I'm so excited and I will post tons of photos as soon as I get back! Thanks so much for your comments. It is nice to know that I'm not the only one who's felt this way but don't let it hold you back, follow your heart; it will never steer you wrong:)Sande Elkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07786721311488709244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4106104316050399525.post-43560374073456442492009-03-21T06:17:00.000-07:002009-03-21T06:17:00.000-07:00I don't remember how I came across your site, but ...I don't remember how I came across your site, but I connect with you. I am a jewelry/mixed media fledgling artist, also interested in photography. I turned 50 this past Dec. and I love horses. We own a off the track thoroughbred, which we have retrained for my daughter. Fact is I want to ride again and maybe....just once show him. I worry about being too old and/or fat. But, I so want to do it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10883633801200787541noreply@blogger.com
